My dear and lovely readers! Thank you for all your support over the past year. It's been surreal and amazing and completely and utterly nerve-wracking to become a debut author, and I'm pleased to say that I've survived! It feels like yesterday though but also like it's been one million years though it was only September 2018 when ​my first​ novel​, What The Woods Keep ​,​ was published in the US, ​closely ​follo​we​d​​ by a local publication in Australia and New Zealand. A Czech translation is now complete and soon - very soon! - there will be a beautiful Czech edition of What The Woods Keep​ as well​. ​(By the way, ​I'​m told that the title is translated into Czech as "Co lesy skrývají" (that is, "What the Woods Hide", ISBN: 978-80-7585-562-6)​. ​Ands now What The Woods Keep is coming out as a paperback in the US!!! So many things to tell you about, so many book news to share! I'm back from a very eventful trip and now preparing for yet another trip that also promises to be eventful. Last month, I had a much needed holiday before I headed to the US for a bunch of events, including YALLWEST and my very first ever solo North American book signing event at Barnes & Noble. Welcome to my blog/website/platform everyone! 2018 has been quite a year! Thank you all who've stuck around as I've morphed from an anxious forthcoming author to an anxious published author. Plus, I'm now an anxious published author with another book on the way. And... an anxious published author who is writing more books and hopes to sell more books so that she can keep writing them. The cycle never ends. I won't lie to you: it's tough, this author gig. But I'm grateful. And happy. But It's TOUGH. Putting your first book out into the world is an experience like no other. I'm beyond excited today as I get to publish this very special interview with the author of one of my absolute favorite 2018 books: Erin Cashman!  Erin is the author of The Exceptionals as well as   her latest novel, Uncharted - out now!  I was intrigued by the Uncharted from the very first moment I glimpsed its cover and description. And I just knew then I was going to love it, and... I did! I mean, what I can say; this book is pretty much my 'catnip' of a story: a dark mystery, mysterious parents, secret societies, ancient legends brought out of the shadows and into the light, and a determined, uniquely voiced protagonist.
